About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Analyst with 8-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, focusing on SAP S/4HANA ABAP development within SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). The role involves working closely with business and functional teams in SAP PM, QM, and PS. Responsibilities include technical design, development, testing, debugging, code reviews, and production support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer-facing skills, experience in Offshore-Onsite delivery models, and expertise in requirement analysis, technical solution design, estimation, development standards, and peer reviews.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of SAP ABAP development experience in implementation, enhancement, and support projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development with a focus on SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Proven experience working closely with business and functional teams in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), QM (Quality Management), and PS (Project Systems).
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects and modern ABAP development techniques.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Core Data Services (CDS Views) including analytical and consumption views.
• Extensive hands-on experience in ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
• Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Fiori Elements development.
• Extensive hands-on experience in OData Services (Gateway / RAP exposure preferred).
• Extensive hands-on experience in SAP HANA optimized development and code pushdown techniques.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench: Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench: Reports (Classical, ALV, OO ALV).
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench: Interfaces using BAPI, RFC, ALE/IDoc, Web Services, and ABAP Proxy.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench: Data Migration and Data Conversion programs.
• Experience with Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and Output Management.
• Working knowledge of Workflow, BRF+, and Flexible Workflow.
• Experience with performance optimization, SQL tuning, and HANA database concepts.
• Knowledge of transport management, code quality tools, and SAP development best practices.
• Strong functional understanding of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Hands-on experience supporting and developing solutions in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance).
• Hands-on experience supporting and developing solutions in SAP QM (Quality Management).
• Hands-on experience supporting and developing solutions in SAP PS (Project Systems).
• Experience in EAM business processes including Maintenance Notifications, Maintenance Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Work Clearance Management, Equipment and Functional Locations, Asset Lifecycle Management, Inspection Processes and Quality Notifications, Project Planning, Budgeting, and Execution.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience working in Offshore-Onsite delivery models.
• Expertise in requirement analysis, technical solution design, estimation, development standards, and peer reviews.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming model) is highly preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM implementations or support engagements.
• Exposure to SAP Asset Manager and mobile maintenance solutions.
• Understanding integration points between EAM, MM, FI, and QM, HCM.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology and DevOps practices.
• Strong domain expertise in SAP PM, QM, and PS.
• Understanding integration with MM, FI, and Asset Accounting.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to design end-to-end EAM solutions.
• Experience in preparing technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical design, development, testing, debugging, code reviews, and production support.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop solutions in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), QM (Quality Management), and PS (Project Systems).
• Support and develop solutions in SAP EAM business processes including Maintenance Notifications, Maintenance Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Work Clearance Management, Equipment and Functional Locations, Asset Lifecycle Management, Inspection Processes and Quality Notifications, and Project Planning, Budgeting, and Execution.
• Conduct impact analysis and support UAT and production deployments.
