About The Position

You will play a critical role in supporting enterprise SAP environments by leading ABAP development work that helps improve business operations and system performance. Your experience with enhancements, configuration changes, and code customization will support reliable SAP solutions aligned with organizational needs. You will partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical outcomes while providing lead-level guidance to the team. This opportunity is associated with an RFP to be awarded this summer.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting SAP ABAP development, including configuration changes, enhancements, and code customization.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP and related SAP development, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field, or additional qualifying experience substituted on a year-for-year basis.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, documentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes, including at least three (3) years in a lead capacity.
  • Ability to provide at least two professional references for submission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP ABAP development activities, including configuration changes, enhancements, and code customizations.
  • Align SAP technical solutions with organizational business processes and operational requirements.
  • Review requirements, support design activities, develop ABAP code, troubleshoot issues, and assist with testing and deployment.
  • Collaborate with business users, IT teams, project leadership, and client stakeholders to define and deliver effective SAP solutions.
  • Maintain required documentation, follow development standards, and support quality, compliance, and reporting expectations.
  • Provide lead-level guidance, technical oversight, and mentorship to development team members as needed.
