About The Position

ValleySoft is a regional IT services provider delivering enterprise applications, cloud technologies, and process-oriented solutions to global clients. The SAP ABAP Developer builds and supports technical solutions for enterprise systems, integrations, and modernization efforts, helping business and functional teams translate requirements into effective SAP outcomes across complex environments. The role involves developing and supporting SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and custom applications; maintaining integrations with external systems; resolving production issues; and contributing to SAP S/4HANA migration and modernization initiatives. The developer collaborates with functional consultants and business teams and maintains technical documentation, development standards, and transport activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development and support experience, including work with RICEFW objects such as reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
Experience supporting production SAP environments and providing L1.5–L3 support for SAP development incidents and change requests.
Hands-on experience with ABAP Objects (OOABAP), SAP Data Dictionary, and Function Modules.
Experience with SAP integration technologies, including BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, web services, and API integrations.
Experience developing SAP forms with SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAPscript.
Strong SQL skills, including experience optimizing database performance and tuning ABAP applications for performance.
Experience contributing to SAP S/4HANA migration and modernization initiatives.
Experience collaborating with SAP functional consultants and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, maintain, enhance, and support SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and custom applications across the SAP landscape.
Develop and support forms using SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAPscript.
Build and maintain SAP integrations with external systems using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, and web services.
Create custom solutions using the Enhancement Framework and implicit and explicit enhancements.
Create and optimize ABAP reports, data extraction programs, and other custom developments.
Troubleshoot ABAP-related incidents, production issues, and change requests across L1.5–L3 support tiers.
Conduct code reviews, debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Support SAP S/4HANA migration and modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Maintain technical documentation, development standards, and transport management activities.
