About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a motivated SAP ABAP Developer to join their team. This role will focus on multiple HR initiatives, including supporting open enrollment, addressing compliance requirements, and troubleshooting configuration issues. The developer will collaborate closely with the HR department, maintain a request tracker, and hold regular meetings with the business to discuss status and priorities. Additionally, the developer will work with the SAP Portfolio Manager to adhere to NYPA SAP development standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in HR ABAP Programming
• Familiarity with Info types
• Experience with RICEF object
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP with focus on HR – Workflows, Reports, Dialog Programming, Interfaces, Smart Forms, Scripts, Adobe Forms, Web Dynpro, Enhancement Framework
• Expert in ABAP debugging

Nice To Haves

• SAP HR functional/configuration knowledge
• Experience with payroll schema and configuration

Responsibilities

• Prepared Technical Specification, Unit Test Plan, Implementation Plan and User Training.
• Configure HR module as per the business requirements.
• Designed and develop SAP ABAP objects (reports, forms, enhancements) to meet RICEFW requirements.
• Follow Object Oriented Programming practice.
• Follow CTS process.
• Perform end to end development activities – Building prototypes, Effort estimation, Writing Technical design, Development, Unit Testing, Code Review, Production support, UAT/System/Integration testing support, Deployment.
• Expert in ABAP debugging and should have ability to analyze existing processes/program and provide innovative solutions.
