About The Position

Seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Software Engineer with expertise in ABAP on the SAP Payroll platform to support the 1LMX (One Lockheed Martin Transformation) program. The role focuses on optimizing and streamlining payroll processes by providing ongoing support for Employee Central Payroll extensions and integrations using SAP ABAP, Schemas, CPI, and other technologies. The program is in its Hypercare phase and is triaging various issues.

The role provides software engineering support in software development, application integration, application troubleshooting, scripting, and SaaS application configuration. It is remote, full-time telecommuting, and follows a 4x10 schedule with every Friday off. U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements. The engagement is listed as six months.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in SAP ABAP development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience building integrations in the SAP CPI platform, including Groovy scripting.
• Strong background in SAP Payroll, on-premises and/or Employee Central Payroll.
• Well-rounded knowledge of SAP full life-cycle implementations and SAP concepts and capabilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of development concepts and the ability to apply them.
• Ability to self-organize and work tasks to closure independently.
• Ability to communicate successfully with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work well on a virtual team.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Experience using additional SAP technologies such as FIORI, UI5, BTP, AL11, and ODATA.
• Experience developing web service integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for Employee Central Payroll extensions and integrations using SAP ABAP, Schemas, CPI, and other technologies.
• Support software development, application integration, application troubleshooting, scripting, and SaaS application configuration.
• Triage issues during the program's Hypercare phase.
• Support payroll processing, including GL, time files, and running payroll.
• Support taxes and Employee Central Payroll integrations.
• Support vendor eligibility and interfaces, including Conduent and Allegiant.
• Support reporting.
