The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for delivering enhancements, maintenance, and ongoing support of the SAP ISU environment. This role involves building, configuring, tuning, and implementing automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvement. The developer will support the web interface used by customers to access their cloud environment and will be responsible for the evaluation, development, implementation, optimization, performance, and configuration of customer cloud environments. The position requires establishing and maintaining proficiency on emerging technologies through self-study and on-the-job training. The developer will escalate issues and defects as necessary and work directly with escalation teams until incidents are fully resolved, and collaborate with architects to help reproduce and resolve issues. Support for SAP IS-U applications throughout go-live, hypercare, and system stabilization is also a key responsibility. The role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining custom ABAP code, building and supporting RICEFW objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows), and developing and supporting SAP BTP and UI5 applications. The developer will manage and prioritize technical tickets in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot production issues, and drive defects through resolution against established targets. Collaboration with functional, integration, Basis, security, and project teams to resolve technical issues is essential. The role also includes supporting SAP integrations with external systems, participating in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities. The developer is expected to work proactively with minimal supervision while managing multiple critical priorities and contribute to ongoing system enhancements and technical improvements.
