About The Position

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Developer/Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate should have deep experience developing CDS Views, OData services, Function Modules, and custom SAP solutions, along with strong development experience using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP/CAPM). The candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating SAP backend capabilities with applications and AI/automation solutions running on SAP BTP. Exposure to SAP Joule Studio, SAP Build Process Automation, and SAP Integration Suite/CPI is highly desirable.

Requirements

Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development
Deep experience developing CDS Views, OData services, Function Modules, and custom SAP solutions
Strong development experience using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP/CAPM)
Experience developing CAP applications using Node.js and/or Java
Experience deploying and supporting CAP applications across SAP BTP runtime environments (Cloud Foundry, Kyma Runtime / Kubernetes-based environments)
Experience building secure connectivity between SAP S/4HANA/ECC and SAP BTP applications and services
Experience designing APIs and service layers
Experience configuring and working with BTP concepts such as Destinations, Connectivity, Authentication/Authorization, XSUAA/Identity Services, Service Bindings, and BTP subaccounts/spaces
Experience supporting integration between CAP applications and SAP backend systems through OData, REST APIs, RFC/BAPI-based services, or other appropriate integration mechanisms
Experience troubleshooting application, API, integration, deployment, and connectivity issues across SAP and BTP environments
Knowledge of SAP clean-core and extensibility principles

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and troubleshoot custom SAP ABAP solutions.
Develop and maintain ABAP CDS Views, including complex CDS models, associations, annotations, and data exposure scenarios.
Design and develop custom OData services for exposing SAP business data and functionality to external/BTP applications.
Develop and work with Function Modules, BAPIs, RFCs, classes, and other ABAP development objects.
Build cloud-native applications and services using SAP BTP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP/CAPM).
Develop CAP applications using Node.js and/or Java, depending on solution requirements.
Deploy and support CAP applications across multiple SAP BTP runtime environments, particularly: Cloud Foundry. Kyma Runtime / Kubernetes-based environments.
Build secure connectivity between SAP S/4HANA/ECC and SAP BTP applications and services.
Design APIs and service layers that can be consumed by SAP BTP applications, automation solutions, and AI agents.
Configure and work with BTP concepts such as Destinations, Connectivity, Authentication/Authorization, XSUAA/Identity Services, Service Bindings, and BTP subaccounts/spaces.
Support integration between CAP applications and SAP backend systems through OData, REST APIs, RFC/BAPI-based services, or other appropriate integration mechanisms.
Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, integration teams, and AI/automation teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot application, API, integration, deployment, and connectivity issues across SAP and BTP environments.
Follow SAP clean-core and extensibility principles while designing custom solutions.
