About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an SAP ABAP Architect position for our client. This role involves leading SAP ABAP architecture and development initiatives for SAP HANA, Suite on HANA (SoH), and SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration projects. The architect will design and implement SAP HANA migration strategies, including code remediation, Hanatization, and custom code optimization. They will also lead S/4HANA custom code migration using the Custom Development Migration Worklist, define code pushdown strategies, evaluate optimization techniques, and recommend tools to improve application performance. The role requires identifying custom ABAP objects for optimization and implementing advanced SAP HANA code pushdown capabilities. Additionally, the architect will provide architectural guidance for SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and Fiori configuration, install and configure HANA Studio and ABAP Development Tools (ADT), and apply SAP HANA development, administration, and modeling tools. The position serves as a trusted technical advisor, providing architectural leadership and guidance to development teams, and collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, high-performing SAP solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.

Requirements

Advanced SAP ABAP development and architecture.
SAP HANA architecture, development, administration, and data modeling.
SAP S/4HANA architecture, migration, and custom code remediation.
Suite on HANA (SoH) migration and Hanatization.
SAP Fiori configuration and integration.
HANA Studio and ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
Advanced Open SQL, ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP), HANA Native SQL, and SAP HANA SQLScript.
Code pushdown strategies, custom code analysis, and performance optimization.
Technical leadership, solution architecture, and stakeholder communication.
Extensive hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and technical architecture.
Proven experience leading SAP HANA, Suite on HANA, and S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
Demonstrated expertise in ABAP code remediation, custom code migration, Hanatization, and performance tuning.
Experience evaluating and implementing code pushdown techniques using advanced Open SQL, AMDP, Native SQL, and SQLScript.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and Fiori configuration.
Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring development teams, and advising stakeholders on SAP architecture and migration best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

Relevant SAP certifications in ABAP development, SAP HANA, or SAP S/4HANA are preferred.
