About The Position

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is seeking a warm, engaging, and professional natural-bearded Santa Claus for holiday photo sessions and seasonal events during Holiday in the Park. The role involves welcoming families to Santa’s Workshop, interacting with guests and children, posing for portraits, and helping create joyful, memorable experiences. The position is seasonal and ends December 23, 2027. Pay starts at $25 per hour and varies with skill and experience. Applicants should submit a headshot or photo along with a short cover letter or resume describing prior Santa experience or their fit for the role. Santa video submissions are also accepted. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be available for training and/or rehearsals before Holiday in the Park begins.
Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Ability to interact and work with people of varying ages, needs, and backgrounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Must be open-minded, gentle, warm, and tolerant of children’s unexpected behaviors.
Must be comfortable posing for pictures and being photographed frequently.
Ability to wear a costume and remain in character for long periods.
Must be willing and able to work closely with employees and guests.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Natural, full, white beard preferred.
Previous Santa experience may be described in the application, but is not stated as a requirement.

Responsibilities

Deliver a magical experience for families and guests who enter Santa’s Workshop.
Answer children’s questions and entertain them during their visit.
Maintain character and remain jovial and happy throughout interactions.
Interact non-judgmentally with children, avoid promising them anything, and respond appropriately to shy children and children from diverse backgrounds.
Sit for and participate in family and individual portraits with park guests.
Work closely with photographers to ensure a variety of quality photos are captured.
Maintain professional standards in accordance with Six Flags policies and procedures.
Follow opening and closing procedures and checklists.
Perform other assigned duties and duties necessary to support the park as a whole.
