About The Position

The Sanitor cleans and maintains both facilities and equipment to Fuchs’ Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs.
• Must have a minimum of one year of experience in a related field.
• Bending, stooping, kneeling required.
• Must be able to move about for long periods of time.
• Use of PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Complete and track all items on the master sanitation schedule with no oversite.
• Maintain awareness and proper use of cleaning products to ensure equipment and facility are clean.
• Be aware of the proper cleaning, rinsing, and sanitizing procedures for the mixing room and other areas as needed.
• Make suggestions to improve ways to clean facilities and equipment.
• Operate scrubber.
• Wet mom and vacuum floors in all production areas.
• Remove bulk trash from facility using a forklift.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, floors in all plant restroom facilities.
• Refill soap dispensers, hand towels, and toilet paper in all bathrooms and sink areas as needed.
• Wipe and clean racks using a scissor lift.
