About The Position

The sanitation staff is responsible for ensuring the sanitary condition of the bakery as required by governmental agencies, customer specifications, and general manufacturing practices for the food industry. They are also responsible for the general cleaning of all other areas in the plant and the outside grounds.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed hand jack operator, or forklift operator, or in training for license.
  • Must complete chemical training before using any hazardous chemical.
  • Must follow all CGMP’s.

Responsibilities

  • Properly disassembling, washing, rinsing, sanitizing and reassembling equipment prior to being used for production.
  • Keep the entire plant facility and its grounds clean.
  • Meet and exceed all regulatory requirements.
  • Following cleaning procedures as outlined by supervisor.
  • Generate accurate information for the required records.
  • Using required safety equipment and following all safety rules.
  • Proper handling and storage of soap, tools, chemicals and other required materials for the job.
  • Be a licensed hand jack operator, or forklift operator, or in training for license.
  • Complete chemical training before using any hazardous chemical.
  • Follow all CGMP’s.
  • Perform any and all other duties that may be assigned by Supervisor or Lead.
