About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining food safety and quality standards at Mini Melts USA. The Sanitation Worker will ensure the production processing area, equipment, and other designated areas are safely sanitized according to proper procedures. This includes waste disposal, tool and equipment maintenance, and adherence to SSOPs for cleaning all equipment to guarantee product safety. The worker will also be responsible for recording relevant information, reporting any mechanical or material issues to their supervisor, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work in cold and humid conditions
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb, lift, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods
• Basic Math Skills

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Food Safety and Quality standards of Mini Melts USA
• Safely sanitizing the production processing area, various types of production equipment and other areas as needed by following the proper procedures.
• Keeping areas clean and safe by collecting and disposing of waste, cleaning, and maintaining tools and equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Following SSOPs for cleaning all equipment to ensure all products are safe, and recording all information
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Other duties as assigned
