About The Position

Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a 2nd Shift Sanitation Worker to join their Team. This role reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and is responsible for the sanitizing of all production and production-related equipment. The individual may operate equipment to facilitate the cleaning process and must ensure all work adheres to organizational standards, safety regulations, and guidelines. This is a labor-intensive position requiring individuals to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods.

Requirements

High School Diploma preferred.
Previous sanitation work considered an asset.
Willing and able to follow specific instructions.
Ability to measure and calculate the metric system.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with little supervision.
Ability to work as a team.
Commitment to accuracy and detail oriented.
Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
Can work from 11:00PM- 7:00AM

Responsibilities

Operate and address manual and automated equipment in the sanitation process as required.
Perform all functions as designated by Eden Valley Poultry Inc.’s instruction while operating specified equipment in a safe manner.
Follow all sanitation procedures as instructed.
Recognizing areas of defect in the cleaning process and taking appropriate actions to rectify them.
Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure result meets quality standards.
Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authority including your supervisor.
Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Follow all standard operating procedures and designated organizational as well as provincial and federal safety guidelines.
Ensure all equipment is operated according to equipment manufacturers instructions and safety guidelines are followed.
Participate in educational and training opportunities applicable to the position.
Other duties shall be assigned as required.
