About The Position

This role follows procedures and SSOPs to perform cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety, hygiene, and food safety. The Sanitation Lead may record information to reflect sanitation activities and issues, and advises/updates the supervisor/manager of progress and any non-routine issues. The position requires the ability to be productive on third-shift scheduling, and some facilities may require ascending or descending stairs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment can be expansive, noisy, wet/humid, and vary in temperature from refrigerated to ambient or warm.

Requirements

Must have Industrial Food Sanitation Experience
Must be capable of being productive on third-shift scheduling.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in basic English.
At least six months experience in a sanitation production environment preferred.
Must have some Microsoft Office skills.

Nice To Haves

Spanish is a plus.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Supervisory skills are desired.
Familiarity with refractometers a plus.

Responsibilities

Follows established procedures in the cleaning and sanitation of idle production equipment.
Completes required reporting to reflect activity.
Advises supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
