The Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas within the facility. This includes proper organization of equipment and cleaning supplies, effective use of cleaning equipment and sanitation procedures, removal of waste, and maintaining the cleanliness of floors, drains, chemical rooms, locker rooms, hallways, break rooms, and bathrooms. The role also involves ensuring proper labeling of chemicals, understanding MSDS/GHS, and adhering to chemical usage guidelines set by the manufacturer, USDA, and OSHA. Teamwork, reporting equipment issues, and verifying cleanliness are key aspects of this position.
