About The Position

The Sanitation Worker will be responsible for completing the daily and master sanitation schedule for a warehouse environment. This includes maintaining clean and orderly warehouse spaces, cleaning bathrooms and break rooms, mopping floors, washing walls and windows, and removing trash and recycling daily. The role also involves communicating any safety concerns to management, performing pest control inspections, and other assigned duties.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
High School diploma or GED required
At least (1) year of warehouse cleaning experience or similar role
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Ability to work effectively with others
Must be able to lift moderate weight (up to 50lbs at times)
Ability to continuously stand and walk for up to 8 hours
Ability to bend, stoop, and squat down
Ability to work in a cold environment with temperatures from 34 -55 degrees
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and/or drug screening

Responsibilities

Fulfills the daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly sanitation schedule.
Maintaining the warehouse spaces in a clean and orderly condition.
Cleaning and organizing bathrooms and break rooms.
Mopping floors, cleaning sinks, washing walls, and windows.
Removing trash and recycling from all areas daily including shredding.
Communicating immediately to the department manager, department leader, or other managers of any situation that may impact employee and/or product safety.
Performing inspections of pest control devices, logs, and notifying supervisor of any activity.
Other duties may be assigned.
