Sanitation Worker, PM, Deli - Lakeland
About The Position
This role involves maintaining the cleanliness of various areas within the plant, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, and hallways. The Sanitation Worker will use cleaning chemicals and equipment, requiring the use of personal protective equipment. Responsibilities include floor care such as mopping, sweeping, and buffing, as well as managing supplies by ordering and stocking them. The position also requires organizing and maintaining housekeeping closets and locker rooms daily, preparing lockers for periodic pesticide treatment, and preparing and sorting recyclable materials. Other duties as assigned are also part of the role.
Requirements
- Ability to use cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Willingness to use personal protective equipment
- Ability to perform floor care tasks (mopping, sweeping, buffing)
- Ability to order and stock supplies
- Ability to organize and maintain closets and locker rooms
- Ability to prepare and sort recycle materials
Responsibilities
