About The Position

The Sanitation, Warehouse role helps ensure the health and safety of associates by maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The position performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout the warehouse, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may also perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. Work includes dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and other related tasks. The role follows company health and safety policies, handles cleaning chemicals according to hazardous-material instructions, completes required Pure Safety training, and may use a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts.
Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazardous-material sheets.
Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
Use a pallet jack when required to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
