Sanitation Technician
About The Position
In our Greencastle location, we are responsible for packing and shipping eggs to stores all over the United States. The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for all work-related activities in relation to cleaning and sanitizing all processing equipment, floors, and drains on a nightly basis. This person must be able to work independently and efficiently. In this role, you’ll help deliver the highest quality product while upholding our unwavering commitment to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming. You’ll act boldly, embrace continuous improvement, and partner with teammates and customers to deliver wins.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in a processing environment preferred
- Cleaning experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Rinse, foam, scrub and wash, rinse and then sanitize the following: Pre-loader, Loader, Orientator Table, Spools, Washers, Dirt Detector, Crack Detector, Scales, Dryer, Transfer, Packers 1-20, Drop Brushes, Pre and Post process Floors, Gutters, Drains
- End of day hygiene sweep of entire processing plant – remove waste and debris
