About The Position

Litehouse is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician I to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety in their facility. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and compliant food production environment. The technician will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various equipment and areas, operating cleaning tools, and ensuring all tasks are completed according to established standards and documentation requirements. The position is based in Sandpoint, Idaho, and offers a starting pay of $19.06/hr with a shift differential for 3rd shift work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents
• Mechanical aptitude: able to identify issues during equipment cleaning
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment
• Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in multiple facility areas
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment using chemicals and water systems
• Inspect completed sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with standards
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Adhere to food safety policies and report any safety or quality concerns
• Contribute to overall facility cleanliness and sanitation
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands
• Perform other duties as assigned
