About The Position

As a Sanitation Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe manufacturing environment while supporting operational excellence and audit readiness throughout the facility. Mennel Milling has been feeding the world since 1886 and is looking for passionate individuals committed to workplace safety, sanitation, and high food quality standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
Ability to perform basic math calculations and complete required documentation and checklists.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions, including dust, temperature fluctuations, heights, and exposure to wheat allergens.

Responsibilities

Following all food safety, sanitation, GMP, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, and company safety guidelines while maintaining an audit-ready facility.
Cleaning designated production and non-production areas, including break rooms, restrooms, and common spaces.
Removing flour accumulation through blow-down and vacuuming procedures and emptying trash and recycling containers.
Safely operating sanitation and material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and straight trucks.
Supporting additional sanitation and facility housekeeping responsibilities as assigned.
