About The Position

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Sanitation Technician for the 3rd Shift. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, managing parts, and assisting with department setups. The technician will also be responsible for preparing cleaning solutions and other chemicals. Requirements

Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
Basic understanding of machinery tear down and setup.
Clean up (parts) experience.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic math functions and skills.
Poultry experience preferred but not required.
Basic Chemical understanding.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize all machinery and assigned areas using chemicals.
Tear down machinery at the beginning of the cleanup shift.
Assist with setup before production starts in the morning.
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader, and Sanitation Manager.
Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
