About The Position

Litehouse is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician I to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety in their Hurricane, UT facility. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment, maintaining facility cleanliness, operating cleaning tools and equipment, inspecting sanitation tasks for compliance, completing documentation, adhering to food safety policies, and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires a positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment around cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents
• Mechanical aptitude: able to identify issues during equipment cleaning
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment
• Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in multiple facility areas
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment using chemicals and water systems
• Inspect completed sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with standards
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Adhere to food safety policies and report any safety or quality concerns
• Contribute to overall facility cleanliness and sanitation
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands
• Perform other duties as assigned
