About The Position

The Sanitation Technician cleans and sanitizes production equipment, processing areas, tools, and facility surfaces to maintain a safe and food-safe workplace.

Requirements

• Sanitation, food manufacturing, janitorial, or industrial-cleaning experience preferred
• Reliable and able to follow instructions
• Comfortable working in cold, wet, and refrigerated areas
• Able to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning
• Use approved cleaning chemicals according to training
• Remove product residue, debris, and waste
• Follow sanitation, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures
