Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ yr of experience in sanitation preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and facility areas according to established procedures and schedules.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation standards to help prevent contamination and ensure product safety.
- Record cleaning activities, chemical concentrations, test results, and any follow-up cleaning needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Keep tools, supplies, and storage areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to make the most of scheduled downtime and ensure equipment is properly sanitized before returning to operation.
- Identify and report potential food safety concerns and take appropriate action to help prevent issues.
