The Sanitation Technician role involves cleaning and sanitizing production line operating equipment such as ovens and coolers, as well as baking equipment like dough/frosting bins, dies, and trays. The technician will also operate a floor scrubber, sweep and mop areas, clean and sanitize bodily fluid spills following established Bloodborne Pathogen Training, clean and sanitize all drains, and manage water on floors. This position requires spending a majority of an 8-hour shift cleaning the plant and its equipment in temperatures ranging from 70-110 degrees, with many physical demands.

  • Physical capability to meet many physical demands

Responsibilities

  • clean and sanitize production line operating equipment (ovens, coolers)
  • clean and sanitize baking equipment including: dough/frosting bins, dies and trays
  • operate floor scrubber to clean concrete floor
  • sweep and mop areas
  • clean and sanitize any bodily fluid spills following established Bloodborne Pathogen Training
  • clean and sanitize all drains
  • management of water on floors
  • Other duties as assigned
