About The Position
The Sanitation Technician role involves preparing cleaning and sanitation chemicals, operating cleaning equipment on exterior equipment surfaces, and manually cleaning equipment parts. The position also includes aseptically collecting samples to validate sanitation procedures, sweeping and washing floors, and cleaning and sanitizing drains, pumps, hoses, and bottle and can warmers. Additionally, the technician will maintain the cleaning chemical storage area and keep sanitation records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly
- Clean-in-place (CIP) experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Keurig Dr Pepper safety and sanitation requirements.
- Possess understanding of production equipment so it can be properly cleaned and operated.
- Use of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
- Restock and replenish supplies as appropriate.
- Perform general maintenance.
