About The Position

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for executing daily and scheduled cleaning and sanitation activities across production, warehouse, and common areas to support a safe, clean, and compliant manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role that also provides flexibility to support production activities, as required based on operational needs. This is a permanent part-time position working Sunday through Thursday from 5:00pm - 10:00pm at our Workshop in Canmore, Alberta.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions, procedures, schedules, and safety protocols with consistency
Commitment to following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, and workplace safety requirements
Comfortable performing physical work, including standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks
Willingness to learn new processes, receive feedback, and adapt to changing priorities
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in sanitation, cleaning, manufacturing, food, or cosmetics is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities

Perform routine and deep cleaning of production rooms, equipment exteriors, tools, floors, drains, walls, and common areas
Follow established sanitation schedules, cleaning instructions, and safety procedures
Use approved cleaning chemicals and tools safely and correctly
Complete basic sanitation checklists and logs accurately and on time
Support sanitation activities during product changeovers, shutdowns, and special cleaning events
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and hygiene requirements
Report sanitation, safety, or facility concerns
Assist with production tasks when sanitation workload allows, including material handling, packing, labeling, and staging
