This is a fulltime day shift position working on a consistent 7:00 am - 7:00 pm rotating schedule. Pay starts at $26.25 an hour. This role involves performing daily cleaning tasks, preventive maintenance on CIP equipment, investigating pre-operational failures, carrying out pathogen environmental monitoring, performing routine chemical titrations, ensuring compliance with plant response to Special Events, maintaining bulk chemical areas, and cleaning drains. The position also includes participation in the Emergency Response Team (ERT), cleaning common production areas, demonstrating safe use of equipment, disinfecting and sterilizing equipment, proper disposal of waste, stocking cleaning supplies, operating forklifts and other equipment, and supporting sanitation cycles for other departments. Accurate paperwork completion is essential for pre-op/PEM documentation and entry into the quality management system database. Reporting pest evidence to the supervisor and completing non-routine tasks are also part of the role. The position requires adherence to Quality Assurance policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures, with an understanding of handling dairy and nut products and related allergens. Safety protocols must be followed, including stopping unsafe acts and reporting hazards.
