About The Position

In this leadership role, you are an internal technical master at the line level who ensures the line team is performing at a level that sustains and improves business results on one or more of 6 stars model. You model priority setting, manage the plan-do-check- adjust cycle and provide coaching and training for your team. You will operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets, understanding losses in your area and taking the appropriate action to eliminate them. You will use autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development. In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed [e.g. safety maps, lock out tag out (LOTO) , behavior observation system (BOS) and root-cause analysis (RCA)], that quality assurance activities are performed to ensure zero harm and 100 percent good-quality products, and that resources are properly allocated and available during the shift. You will take the lead for shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination. The Sanitation Team Lead assures the proper execution of programs to support Mondelez Quality/Sanitation Programs, as well as standards for Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined by government regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in sanitation or production leadership required.
  • Strong working knowledge of sanitation practices, SSOPs, GMPs, chemical handling, and safe work procedures.
  • Experience performing sanitation verification (Swabs, Visual inspection).
  • Strong communication and ability to collaborate across shifts and functions.
  • Analytical and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to lead and coach hourly crew members.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in Food Science, Quality, or related field preferred.
  • Training in chemical safety, sanitation procedures, GMPs, and IPM highly preferred.
  • Experience supervising or leading hourly teams preferred.
