About The Position

JBS is hiring an hourly Sanitation Support team member for its Value Added Plant in Greeley, Colorado. The position starts at $23.50 per hour and involves hands-on sanitation work to maintain clean work areas and equipment and meet regulatory requirements. The role includes following sanitation procedures, monitoring work areas, supporting safety and food-safety compliance, and maintaining sanitation supplies. Work takes place overnight in a cold manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Authorized to work in the United States.
At least 18 years of age.
Able to work full-time Monday through Friday, with weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Able to perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Able to walk or stand constantly and use hands and fingers to feel objects and reach with hands and arms.
Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.

Previous experience in sanitation or a related field.

Responsibilities

Clean, scrub, sanitize, and organize work areas and equipment.
Follow established sanitation protocols and procedures to maintain cleanliness and meet regulatory requirements.
Monitor and inspect work areas and address sanitation processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Encourage teamwork and open communication in a positive work environment.
Follow safety guidelines and regulations during sanitation processes.
Identify and report safety hazards or concerns to management.
Maintain a clean and organized storage area for sanitation supplies and chemicals.
Understand and follow Food Safety, GMP, and SSOP requirements.
Maintain pace flow and labor standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
