The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for the execution, oversight, and continuous improvement of the plant sanitation program, ensuring all food safety, regulatory, environmental health and safety (EHS), and product quality standards are met. This role leads sanitation operations across departments and shifts, drives compliance with master and daily sanitation schedules, and serves as a subject‑matter expert in sanitation processes and chemical usage while maintaining a strong hands‑on presence on the production floor. The Sanitation Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and high‑quality production environment by leading sanitation operations with composure, professionalism, and accountability, particularly in high‑pressure operational settings. This role requires strong situational awareness and the ability to resolve conflict through clear communication and fact‑based decision‑making while consistently upholding safety and quality standards without compromise. The position plans and executes sanitation activities by establishing priorities, scheduling work, assigning resources, and maintaining frequent communication with sanitation staff and key stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution. The Sanitation Supervisor works closely with contractors, suppliers, and technical teams to troubleshoot sanitation issues, identify root causes of non‑conformities, and drive sustainable corrective actions. Through hands‑on leadership, the role oversees the cleaning and sanitization of equipment, surfaces, utensils, and the plant environment, providing direction, motivation, and technical support to ensure sanitation practices meet regulatory, food safety, and company requirements.
