About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of areas in compliance with Board of Health and OSHA Standards and Regulations. The Sanitation Supervisor will handle guest and team member opportunities, evaluate team member job performance, set schedules and specific job duties, and maintain team member hours for proper staffing in the absence of the Executive Steward. The position requires productive work with direct supervisors and peers.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management.
• Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to handle a flexible schedule.
• Must demonstrate sound judgment and maturity in his or her decision-making ability, even when dealing with difficult situations.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP and OSHA guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one (1) year in sanitation experience or in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice and observe safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure cleanliness of areas and compliance with Board of Health and OSHA Standards and Regulations.
• Handle any Team Member and/or Guest opportunities.
• Evaluate and oversee job performance of Team Members.
• Set schedules and specific job duties.
• Maintain Team Members’ hours for proper staffing as defined through established service standards in absent of Executive Steward.
• Work productively with direct supervisor and peers.
