About The Position

Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will lead sanitation operations at our Macon, Missouri manufacturing facility, where we produce Healthy Choice, Banquet, and Kid Cuisine products. You will be responsible for all sanitation equipment, staff, and processes to ensure a clean and sanitary manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with engineering, suppliers, contractors, and plant partners to support food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Food manufacturing experience is required
Three years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with food safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Safe Quality Food standards, and sanitary practices
Experience working with government regulatory agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration and United States Department of Agriculture
Knowledge of Clean In Place and Clean Out of Place systems
Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance fundamentals

Responsibilities

Organize, implement, train, and monitor the plant sanitation team, processes, and methods
Plan and execute daily, weekly, and periodic plant wide cleaning and sanitation activities
Maintain the Master Cleaning Schedule, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with United States Department of Agriculture regulations, the Plant Improvement Plan, and the Environmental Swabbing Program
Partner with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement of sanitation processes and practices
Conduct routine plant inspections and sanitation audits, tracking corrective actions to completion
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and chemical usage requirements
Escalate food safety or sanitation concerns to management in a timely manner
