About The Position

The Sanitation Supervisor oversees sanitation activities at the Green Bay facility, ensuring that facilities, equipment, and tools are cleaned and sanitized according to company, USDA, and regulatory standards. The position leads and schedules sanitation team members, verifies sanitation effectiveness through inspections, maintains compliance records, monitors chemical use and equipment performance, and addresses sanitation issues to maintain readiness for production. The role reports to the Sanitation Superintendent and supports the Operations Team as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous supervisory experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience with 20 or more employees is preferred.
• Food or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct sanitation activities to ensure facilities, equipment, and tools are cleaned and sanitized according to company, USDA, and regulatory standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule sanitation team members, ensuring proper execution of cleaning procedures and safe work practices.
• Conduct pre-op and post-op inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness and document compliance for food safety audits.
• Monitor chemical usage, cleaning methods, and equipment performance, ensuring appropriate concentrations, handling, and maintenance.
• Respond promptly to sanitation-related issues during and after cleaning shifts, troubleshooting problems to maintain readiness for production.
• Maintain accurate sanitation records, including checklists, logs, corrective actions, and audit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, reinforcing PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe chemical handling throughout sanitation operations.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Operations Team.
