About The Position

Supervise Sanitation Technicians and ensure Sanitation of Equipment, Production Tools, Facility Environment are to the highest of standards. Creation, implementation and reinforcement of standard operating practices, policies, and procedures for Sanitation Department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software

Responsibilities

  • Supervise sanitary operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures
  • Ensure complete sanitation of production equipment and the environment in accordance with the established Sanitation policies and SOPs.
  • Responsible for maintaining safety policies and GMPs throughout the facility.
  • Schedule, train, coach, and conduct performance reviews for Sanitation Technicians
  • Review/Create/Revise Sanitation Policies and SOPs for continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule
  • Schedule and conduct shift meetings
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement for plant sanitation
  • Conduct or delegate verification steps of Sanitation SOPs
  • Promote safety, and enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Directly supervises employees.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
