Sanitation Specialist - Hospital Environmental Services
About The Position
Clean2TheKore is hiring a Sanitation Specialist to work at a hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role focuses on safely removing hospital waste and recycling and helping keep the hospital clean. The schedule is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and pay is $16 per hour. The specialist collects and transports trash, recycling, and regulated medical waste to designated storage areas; follows safety rules for medical, hazardous, and universal waste; maintains clean, organized waste storage areas; delivers clean linen and removes soiled linen; and assists with general housekeeping as needed. DOT and hazardous-waste training will be provided. A background check and drug screen are required before starting, followed by a hospital health screening. Applicants must already have received standard vaccinations; the hospital provides boosters but not first-time vaccinations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to push carts and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Pass a background check and drug screen before starting.

Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or healthcare is preferred.
