About The Position

Clean2TheKore is hiring a Floor Specialist to care for floors and carpet throughout a hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and assist with general housekeeping when needed. The role includes cleaning floors in patient rooms, offices, hallways, and public restrooms while following a daily, weekly, and monthly floor care schedule.

The specialist operates floor-care equipment and uses floor chemicals and pads appropriately, with proper personal protective equipment. Before starting, the candidate must pass a background check and drug screen and complete the hospital health screening. The candidate must already have received standard vaccinations; the hospital provides boosters but not first-time vaccinations.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience caring for hard (resilient) floors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust mop, mop, strip, refinish, and burnish hard floors.
• Clean carpet using vacuums and carpet extractors.
• Operate floor equipment, including burnishers, scrubbers, wet vacs, and iMop.
• Use floor chemicals and pads appropriately and wear proper PPE.
• Place wet floor signs and other safety signage.
• Clean floors in patient rooms, offices, hallways, and public restrooms.
• Follow a daily, weekly, and monthly floor-care schedule.
• Clean floor equipment and report equipment problems.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties when needed.
