About The Position

The Sanitation Specialist role is a hands-on position responsible for cleaning various areas within the soybean processing plant, including both interior and exterior spaces of grain receiving, storage bins, oil loading, preparation, extraction, and refinery areas. This role involves common activities such as sweeping, shoveling, using compressed air for blow-downs, trash removal, and assisting with routine facility maintenance. Sanitation Specialists will also receive cross-training to support the overall operations of the plant.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation
Ability to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
Availability to work overtime and weekends
Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
Ability to work at heights
Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
Ability to ascend/descend ladders
Requirement to wear PPE

Responsibilities
