About The Position

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Sanitation Specialist to help maintain a clean, safe, and food-safe production environment. This role includes cleaning production equipment, workspaces, common areas, and restrooms while following all food safety and employee safety procedures. The Sanitation Specialist will also monitor and restock sanitation supplies and complete required food safety and quality documentation.

Requirements

• Previous sanitation, or industrial cleaning experience preferred
• Food safety certifications or licenses as required
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, including proper preparation and dilution
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the food production facility
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, walls, work surfaces, and other food contact areas
• Clean break rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed
• Prepare and use cleaning chemicals according to company procedures
• Complete required food safety and quality documentation accurately
• Follow all company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
