Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
  • Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
  • Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions.
  • Must be able to work at height levels in excess of 50 feet
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area.
  • Follow oral and or written work instructions.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the workstation when beginning work Verify and feed raw materials into the production process.
  • Ensure products produced meet quality and food safety standards.
  • Check yields and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate production records.
  • Monitor machinery for malfunctions.
  • Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues Report food safety problems
  • Clean workstation and equipment at shift-end Follow Standard Operating Procedures,
  • General Manufacturing Principles safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct
  • Participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned
