About The Position

Under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor or designee, the Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the facility. The role is based at Kerry’s Rothschild, Wisconsin location, which supports the company’s Applied Health and Nutrition division and biopharmaceutical needs. The position follows a rotating 12-hour night shift on a 3-2-3 schedule, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The posting lists hourly rates of $23.89 and $26.54, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments: $500 after 90 days, $500 after six months, and $1,000 after one year.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Prior food sanitation experience in a manufacturing facility or similar field.

Nice To Haves

Sanitation certificates or training.
Two to three years of sanitation experience.

Responsibilities

Understand local regulatory requirements and Kerry policies related to health, safety, and sanitation.
Clean the facility, including scrubbing, foaming, and cleaning drains and troughs.
Collect environmental monitoring swabs.
Maintain and follow the Master Sanitation Schedule.
Complete CIP titrations and adjust pumps as needed.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Participate in the performance, upkeep, and verification of Glass, Brittle, and Plastic Inspections.
Perform wash-up inspections and conduct ATP swabs.
Stock locker rooms and restrooms.
Perform internal inspections and cleaning, including water and condensate control, food safety, and security.
Perform other duties as assigned.
