About The Position

Stratas Foods is seeking a full-time Sanitation Operator for their 3rd shift. This role involves working with a small team to maintain the cleanliness of the plant and equipment to ensure it is audit-ready. Responsibilities include general housekeeping, sanitation, equipment breakdown and reassembly, operation and cleaning of CIP skids, and knowledge of chemical handling procedures. The operator will also be responsible for completing various sanitation tasks, communicating equipment needs to supervisors, reporting quality issues observed during cleaning, and adhering to GMP and Stratas policies. Facility cleaning, including floors, drains, and overhead areas, is also part of the role. Employees are encouraged to participate in improvement teams, learn new procedures, produce accurate documentation, and maintain acceptable attendance. The position offers the opportunity to learn various roles and fill in for vacancies as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer knowledge - data
Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights
Must be able to work their shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

Previous relevant experience preferred, preferably in a manufacturing environment or commercial cleaning.

Responsibilities

General housekeeping, sanitation, and other duties as assigned by supervision.
Proper break down of equipment, cleaning, and reassembling pumps, sanitary lines, and line equipment.
Operation of CIP skids in addition to breakdown and cleaning of line components.
Knowledge of chemical handling procedures including PPE required.
Completion on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual MSS items.
Communicate with supervisor when equipment needs attention.
Report/resolve any observed quality issues while cleaning equipment.
Ability to follow GMP and Stratas policies.
Facility cleaning including floor, drain, and overhead cleaning.
