About The Position
This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the production area in accordance with USDA, HACCP, and QA pre-op protocols. This position will require using high-pressure hoses, chemical solutions, and assembling/disassembling lines and equipment as needed for proper cleaning and sanitizing. The role also involves cleaning equipment, lines, machines, floors, ceilings, lighting fixtures, fans, and taking out trash. Training in LOTO (lockout tagout), fall protection, and PIT (if needed) will be provided. The position involves exposure to potentially warm or cold temperatures, and wet, humid, or dusty conditions. It requires walking, bending, standing, and frequent lifting of up to 70 pounds, along with any other duties assigned by the Manager.
