Performs a variety of cleaning/sanitation duties and responsibilities for the plant. This role requires working in enclosed/confined spaces, at heights, and in temperature extremes. Responsibilities include setting up and performing CIP (clean in place) cleaning operations, disassembling and reassembling equipment for PEC (periodic equipment cleaning), maintaining accurate written records, and completing reports. Cleaning and sanitation activities are performed as determined by the Master Sanitation Schedule and/or Sanitation Lead and/or Sanitation Program Manager. The role requires the use of personal protective equipment, such as gloves, boots, fall protection, or respirators, and often involves wearing a full body harness with safety lines. Mechanical aptitude is required.
