The Sanitation Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Master Sanitation Schedule for both wet and dry clean environments. This role involves creating, executing, and maintaining training materials, delivering training to employees, and verifying compliance with company standards and auditing groups like BRC. The manager will analyze new processes and equipment commissioning, providing recommendations for cleaning, sanitation, procedures, and training. They will serve as the primary resource for sanitation decisions, supporting quality, productivity, and engagement. This position also includes developing, executing, and validating audit programs, driving root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for sanitation-related issues. The manager will own, coach, and execute plant quality programs such as EMP and pest management, including tracking, testing, and reporting. They are responsible for the effectiveness and direction of these programs, supporting wet and dry cleaning, allergen changeovers, and developing the plant-level sanitation strategy to achieve long-term goals through cross-functional alignment.
