About The Position

This position manages supply chain processes and ensures merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers by directing resolutions and responding to the escalation of daily issues. It involves analyzing data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies, providing data for the supplier compliance process flow, and researching and analyzing the root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns. The role also includes cleaning warehouse ceilings, racks, and walls in all chambers of the warehouse, including freezers, and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs. Additionally, the position provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and providing recognition. It acts as a liaison for the field, influencing direction and providing guidance for the execution of operations, and is responsible for addressing performance-related issues. The role identifies best practices, advises teams on adoption and implementation, and collaborates with business partners to identify and develop resources and improve efficiencies. It manages supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working through continuous improvement recommendations to leadership. The manager prioritizes sanitation objectives, ensures flow plans are achievable, promotes innovation, and manages the correction of errors, processes, and feedback loops. They identify areas of opportunity to improve service levels, support the use of end-to-end costing methodologies and lean concepts, and provide cost recommendations to reduce process waste. The role reviews and analyzes the impact and benefits to internal processes, coordinates and aligns planning with organizational initiatives, and makes changes to work plans as needed to achieve team objectives. It sets realistic timelines, improves work processes and practices, and holds associates accountable for completing work within expectations and time requirements. The manager plans and manages team member time based on business priorities and follows up to ensure all work requirements are completed accurately. They identify and obtain necessary resources for projects, apply policies and procedures for informed judgments, and use data and evidence to solve problems. The role reviews customer-focused data and adjusts performance accordingly, promotes associate efforts to exceed customer expectations, and coaches associates to identify and locate resources. Requirements

  • 2 years’ supervisory experience
