About The Position

This position manages supply chain processes and ensures merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers by directing resolutions and responding to the escalation of daily issues. It analyzes data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies and provides data for the supplier compliance process flow. The role researches and analyzes the root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns. It also cleans warehouse ceilings, racks, and walls in all chambers of the warehouse, including freezers. The position supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies and communicates goals and objectives, and builds accountability for and measures progress in achieving results. It identifies and addresses improvement opportunities, demonstrates adaptability, and promotes continuous learning. The role provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties, and provides recognition. It influences field-level direction and provides guidance for the execution of operations by acting as a liaison for the field. The Sanitation Manager is responsible for addressing performance-related issues, identifying best practices, and advising teams on adoption and implementation. They collaborate with business partners to identify and develop resources and improve efficiencies. The role manages supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working through continuous improvement recommendations to leadership. They prioritize sanitation objectives, ensure flow plans are achievable, and promote innovation to simplify current solutions and methodologies. The position manages the correction of errors, processes, and feedback loops, identifies areas of opportunity to improve service levels, and supports the use of end-to-end costing methodologies and lean concepts. They provide cost recommendations to reduce process waste and identify opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies. The role reviews and analyzes the impact and benefits to internal processes, coordinates and aligns planning with organizational initiatives and directions, and looks at work plans to make changes as needed to achieve team or workgroup objectives. They set realistic timelines for goal accomplishment, improve work processes and practices to increase performance and results, and hold associates accountable for completing work within expectations and time requirements. The position plans and manages team member time based on business priorities and follows up to ensure all work requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner. They identify and obtain the resources needed to complete projects, identify, review, and apply policies and procedures to make informed judgments, and use data and evidence to determine the causes of problems and develop solutions. The role reviews customer/member-focused data and adjusts performance to address findings, and promotes and supports associate efforts to exceed customer/member expectations. They coach associates to identify and locate resources and meet the needs of customers/members. The Sanitation Manager coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, identifying and addressing improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. They provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Requirements

  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in warehouse or manufacturing plant sanitation.
  • 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.
