About The Position

Bridor is seeking an experienced Sanitation Manager to lead sanitation operations at our new industrial bakery manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is responsible for ensuring the facility maintains the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate will have proven sanitation leadership experience within a food manufacturing environment and experience supporting HACCP, SQF, GMP, FDA, and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sanitation leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, environmental monitoring, allergen controls, and sanitation validation.
  • Experience supporting customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed to support operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Safety, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in bakery, frozen food, dairy, protein, beverage, or other high-volume food manufacturing operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all facility sanitation programs and activities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SSOPs and Master Sanitation Schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, GMP, FDA, USDA, and company requirements.
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections and sanitation audits.
  • Lead corrective actions related to sanitation and food safety findings.
  • Support environmental monitoring and allergen control programs.
  • Maintain sanitation records and documentation.
  • Support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
  • Coordinate sanitation activities with Operations, Maintenance, Warehousing, and Quality teams.
  • Manage sanitation chemical programs, inventories, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of sanitation chemicals.
  • Monitor sanitation performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sanitation effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop sanitation team members.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, and performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee relations matters.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
