Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate Computer Skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills

  • ESL and Aseptic manufacturing knowledge including sanitation

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining documentation associated with equipment and plant sanitation.
  • Conducting verifications and validations of equipment, processes, and programs in relation to sanitation, in conjunction with the Sanitation Manager.
  • Assisting production employees in addressing sanitation concerns.
  • Conducting ongoing audits on cleaning practices and providing training or coaching if needed.
  • Assisting in environmental monitoring swabbing and testing.
  • Tracking and trending master sanitation data, environmental monitoring data, and pre-operation inspection data to drive process improvement.
  • Performing master sanitation schedule tasks for sanitation.
  • Completing daily sanitation checklist tasks.
  • Reviewing sanitation records and any sanitation preventive control records.
  • Directing the actions of other crew members and communicating with all managers.
  • Upholding quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas.
  • Ensuring that all required maintenance is performed.
  • Assisting in root cause analysis as needed.
  • Communicating with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
  • Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
  • Reporting food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Ensuring all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.
  • Performing coverage in the Sanitation Foreman position as needed.
  • Performing environmental monitoring testing coverage if needed.
